Listening and Engaging with the Social Media Cowboy

The video speaks for itself.  It is a tongue-in-cheek story starring Radian6’s VP of marketing, David Alston, that pokes a bit of fun at country singer Jay McLean’s attempt to become famous by writing a song which picks on “Convenience Store Chain” that just keeps running out of … well… I won’t spoil it for you.  The message is clear though: listening to customers and engaging early can often avert a crisis or growing negative conversation about your brand.
